Update on Lagunitas

The first Lagunitas nest has failed due to heavy rain and wind for 30 hours straight! It was quite a day. We couldn't go out at all, so we stayed inside playing cribbage, reading, and napping. We had company from off the island, so it was an enjoyable (though stressful) day, for the most part.

Fret not, the pair will re-nest as jays normally do, and we can continue to follow them throughout the season.

The creek was dry when the rain started. It went from no flow to very high in 24 hours!
